Join us for a celebratory evening with 18-year old kayaker Alex Martin, who will share the story of his 1,750 km solo paddling journey around Lake Winnipeg to raise awareness about the critical need to protect our beloved lake and the Boreal ecosystems that surround it.
We'll also be treated to a short talk by Riverview School teacher Annette Danis, who will tell us about her passion for wilderness and how she engages her students in conservation.
