— 1) Navigation (August 25th)
The NAVIGATION Program will teach you to navigate with a compass and how to apply natural navigation skills. You will also learn to estimate distances, navigate different search patterns, find your way to different marking points, and be able to get back to the exit point at any time.

— 2) Night and Limited Visibility (August 25th)
Diving at night means excitement, adventure and fascination all at the same time!" While diving at night you can discover a different side of this world and you can experience it from a completely different view. It is an unbelievable feeling to discover the mysteries held underwater when the sun goes down. With the right equipment and a powerful torch there is a lot to discover. Night diving is a whole new way to experience the underwater world.

— 3) Search and Recovery (August 26th)
Finding treasure is something every diver thinks of more than once in his/her diving career! Whether it's the gold of a sunken ship, a lost ring or simply your buddy's dive light that was accidentally lost, there are times in which the appropriate training to search for lost objects underwater would be beneficial. SSI offers a structured program for SEARCH AND RECOVERY where you will learn to perform different search patterns with the help of ropes and compasses, and to plan search and recovery operations in a team.

— Each specialty course fee is $125.00 plus digital education materials ($45). Fees include classroom session, open water dive, certification card and ongoing advice.
An itinerary for the weekend will be distributed to participants upon registration. A compass is required for both Navigation and Search and Recovery specialty courses.
